The Actress: Cancelling Cordelia by Kimberly J M Wilson

The next instalment in the life of Cordelia Wainwright and her family – not to be missed.
Not only do we get to see what happens in Cordy’s life ( I feel as though she would let me call her that) but we get a sort of behind the scenes look at some of the most important occasions in her life.
There’s drama, love, hilarity, curiosity, despair, horror, bravery and much more in this book.
We have back story, sneak peaks, TMI, sacrifices – all of which happen in front of us. We see her comfort eating, being thoughtful, kind, caring, loving, providing tough love – you name it.
We witness the excruciating embarrassment of her discussing her sex life with her mother – just to be told that she is an actress – just pretend!
Seriously – we see Cordy changing from the selfish, terrified of the world woman into a woman who loves her family fiercely and is not afraid to do what she needs to in order to protect them. She loves them more than she loves herself.
I absolutely love this book. I’ve pre-ordered my paper copy to sit on my ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ shelf – next to The Actress: The Curious Case of Cordelia Wainwright. Did I mention there is character art too? Check it out online.
I absolutely recommend this series.

And even better – we seem to be see Cordy moving towards the COVID pandemic – how will she cope?
Tune in to find out – because it will surely be entertaining to watch our favourite germaphobe navigate COVID and lockdowns. I literally can’t wait!
