I’m really enjoying this series. We re-join the group of ex army garage owners and the animal sanctuary women for another deep dive into the lives of 2 of the women as we watch their story evolve.
This time we follow Rosie and Shay. No surprise there as we saw them in book 1.
Rosie’s mom has been a topic of conversation in the 1st book and she appears again (not literally).
Her chaotic life affected her parenting and has had a subsequent knock on effect on Rosie’s life. Here we see Rosie dealing with the fallout of her actions – again.
On a personal level I found this book to be just what I needed to read at the time. I read it around the death of my own mother – again, just like a social story.
I found it so useful thank you.

Needless to say, I’ve just started reading book 3.
