On the Edge of Uncertainty by E V Bancroft

I have read all 4 of the books in this series now and have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. However, I think this one is my favourite.
I had been looking forward to this and was not disappointed.
It is Aunt Florrie’s turn for a story – and this most certainly does not disappoint. Not only do we see Florrie and get to know her story, we meet Diana and also get additional backstory on Cam as a child and her ongoing relationship with Gloria.
This would work as a standalone but it is so much better having the layers of the other 3 books to get to know everyone.
It’s also really well researched as well. So expect historical accuracy, and to learn as you read. I find historical faction absolutely fascinating. All that research being carefully spun and woven into the story and characters and their backgrounds – such a level of skill is required to do it properly. This isn’t just done properly though – it is excellent.
