It is no secret that I loved this book when I read it. It is my favourite series from 2024 – and I read 312 books (or so my Kindle tells me).

This is the first book that I have listened to after I had also read the book – it made the characters come to life in ways slightly different than I had imagined. Different, but better! The accents, characterisation and tone all bring the cast to life in a most delightful way.

It made me laugh out loud again as I was driving. I only listen to books when I am driving alone.

I would say though, this is definitely not a book for my wife to read – I can imagine her taking notes from Aubrey. She already does something similar to ‘I am going to speak and you are going to listen. Got it? Nod your head if you understand.’

If you are looking for something that contains an ice queen, celebrity romance, a touch of England in USA, and love sticky toffee pudding this is definitely for you.
