Play It Again Ma’am by Sienna Waters

Play It Again, Ma'am (Whitebridge)

This is the 3rd book in what so far is a trilogy of light hearted, amusing, books set in a fictional English village. The same characters abound in all 3 books, as you read on you learn more about them and how they entwine.  Do not let the fact that this is book 3 put you off reading it. It works well as a standalone story. I would recommend you read all 3 though – because they are all very good.

I read a lot of books. And most of them are in the lesfic genre. And I love this series. They are the kind of book that you can read on a rainy February day and forget that it is cold and wet outside. Just the right blend of smushy romance and love (if you ignore the fact that all locations in lesfic books have what I would consider more than their fair share of lesbians living there).

This book has new characters that are well rounded and plausible. You can relate to their stories, their emotions and the silly things that people in love in books seem to do. The 2 main character Jules and Billie have both suffered into adulthood from parenting failures – and are trying to come to terms with these issues and move on.

I recommend you read this book (and the other 2) as soon as you can.
