Smith, Adrian J – My Boss’s Stalker: Spoiler It’s Not Me

This book entertained me. It is a combination of an ice queen boss with her assistant crushing on her for 3 years, funny enough to make you laugh out loud in the doctor’s waiting room, and a little suspense and investigation into who the stalker is while the stalker sets up the boss. I think it was pretty obvious who the stalker was from their, I think, 2nd mention but I didn’t know if it was going to be a double bluff kind of situation and the stalker was going to be somebody thrown in at the end (which it was not).

This is a beautifully written, and paced story and it did not end when the stalker was caught. The story carried on to tie up the loose ends. I liked this. I have read enough epilogues that dash straight from – I’ve got the girl to marriage, kids and happy ever after – all in the space of just one page, and it is starting to to grate on me – but I have read a lot of them.

I suspect Adrian could turn a mundane news report into a beautiful story – the writing is superb,

You should read it now.
