Juliet and Paige first appeared in The Hideout. That was the first Melissa Tereze book I read. I loved it.
I was therefore eager to see how their story continued. This is also Hush Liverpool Book 4 and has a lot of shared characters etc – you should read them all.
Paige has been touring with her music. Juliet is expanding the bar.
There is uncertainty with the touring – Paige likes to be at home, Juliet also likes her to be at home, but also wants her to tour and succeed.
When you tour they talk about you in the press and online – and it is not necessarily what is actually happening.
Anyway, Juliet has other things to keep her busy and her criminal defence days catch up with her.
This upsets everyone and reinforces what is important in life for them. After a minor hiccup from Juliet when she appears to have lost her mind.
There is of course an epilogue – set a month after the main story.
Then the book carries on.
Then there is ANOTHER epilogue after 6 months!
Now I know I love an interesting epilogue – but 2?! Amazing.
In case you cannot tell from this brief overview – I loved this book.
I was invested in the characters from the beginning, wanted to know what was happening, laughed and gasped a few times and then gave serious thought to reading the Hush Liverpool 4 again.
