I have read many bodyguard books and I was not expecting this one to be so good.
I read the acknowledgements and the alterations that had been made to the original book and I was a little wary then. But I carried on and read it because it is after all only a book not a major life decision. But this is THE best bodyguard book I have read. I guess I should say so far, but I think it might just be the best.
You read the first bit feeling that you know what is going on but you can’t quite figure out where it all fits together. And then it hits you. Of course! That’s what it is all about.
So suspense and drama as well as romance. And not forgetting the angst.
If you like bodyguard type books you should read this.
If you don’t like them you should also read it.
You will not be disappointed.
The only issue I had with it was the epilogue – because of course.
And that really isn’t an issue because the story always guarantees a ‘Happy Ever After’.
And I’m just grumpy.
