There is, as always, a romance blossoming quietly – sometimes so quietly that the characters are unsure that it exists which adds to the charm of the book.
There is a scene when one of them literally removes her mask to step out of her employment role and who she thinks she has to be seen as – by literally removing her make up and showing her real self.
There is also an actual story that runs through the book – which gives it pace, interest and action.
I recommend you read it.
