A fashion designer is running a business mainly funded by her ultra rich businessman uncle. He thinks they are not making enough profit and sends in a consultant. Who just happens to be a card carrying lesbian who is attracted to the designer.
The designer thinks the consultant wants to sack her staff and they exchange words.
Ultimately they end up together, the staff all keep their jobs and the business becomes profitable.

Annoyingly when a book is part of a series I seem to be unable to resist reading the lot! And there were 5 of these. I read them whilst taking an extended journey involving 3 trains and 2 buses – the plot is easy to follow. A pleasant read.
