This is the latest in a string of ‘billionaire ‘ books. All the main characters have been business whizz kids and self made billionaires. They are all friends and brunch frequently with their new girlfriends inducted into the brunch club by the end of their particular story. Mostly they have been their assistants.
In this book although the main character is a billionaire and in business there is very little business talk as majority of the action takes place up a mountain in a snowed in cabin.
It was a perfectly good book and a good story – I just couldn’t get into it as much as I had with the others.
And that is my fault, not the authors. I expected to like it. I expected it to be very similar to the others. But it wasn’t. And it took me a while to catch up that the story was happening without the office element. And of course we had a mental health story interwoven.
I enjoyed the catch up with the brunch club – remembering their stories.

I will still be looking out to see if there’s any more books in this series and I will make sure to read them if there are.
