Who doesn’t love a book set in the world of the tornado chaser?!
Multiple characters travel in a minibus chasing tornadoes. There is angst in the relationship of chief chaser Oakley and weather girl(?) Lana. There’s a budding relationship between 2 of the guest chasers, Riley and Chloe.
All gets resolved along the way.
There’s a lot of disappointment in the beginning in the Oakley/Lana relationship.
The sex in this book is all implied rather than explicit and the story does not suffer for that.
There is of course excitement, fear, a daring rescue of a child and the death of a child. I am sure that I heard on a podcast that you were not meant to kill children off in romances. Or maybe it was babies and this one was ok because it was a teenager perhaps?!
Anyway, I enjoyed this.
