I quite enjoyed this. A layer of snark, wrapped up in a fake girlfriend, leads to planning a fake wedding in order to get an inheritance, ending up of course in a Happy Ever After.
I think part of the attraction is reading the beginning and seeing the characters meet and knowing exactly where the book is going to end – and seeing where you go on the way.
So it is the unpredictability of the predictable storyline that makes it so much fun and enjoyable.
