This is book 2 in the series. Now this book is set ‘off Broadway’ so it’s a singing/dancing and acting story.
It’s a light, cute, easy to read book. The nitty gritty issue that has to be overcome is whether Jules, in her 1st relationship with a woman, can come out to her family quickly enough so as not to trigger Sophie’s issues about being in a hidden relationship.
Needless to say there is some miscommunication along the way which results in break up and then getting back together again.
It is a clever story idea having the production that they are starring in about a woman coming to terms with her sexuality and kissing a woman for the first time. Needless to say Jules is playing that part.
These are very enjoyable.
