This story brings together a new character Daisy with a whole bunch of people and places from other books.
Daisy is heading home for Christmas in the snow when her car breaks down. She needs to walk in the snow carrying her stuff. SJ helps her get home and they meet up again in a bar (by chance).
SJ has a reputation due to her past behaviour (Last Chance) and Daisy doesn’t know this. SJ has tried hard to work on herself and is a changed person.
SJ is a football player – and Daisy’s dad and his mate are big fans.
Daisy likes to take risks and SJ has been trying not to take risks – but these risks are acceptable and fun.
There’s a lot of miscommunication, being snowed in and unable to get home, but ultimately they start a relationship but are unsure about it as Daisy is only home for Christmas.
Daisy is concerned that her old life wasn’t working out for her anyway.
