This is another in the CEO series. You know what you are going to get with these, and this one delivers as usual.
It of course centres around the CEO and her new assistant. There should be a warning attached to job descriptions of assistant. Only apply if you want a relationship with your boss only I am fairly sure that would not get HR approval.
Again, the assistant is a widow, with a child – there seems to be an awful lot of lesbian widows around.
There is flirtation, sex, then coldness. Followed by sex and a relationship. The killer blow being delivered by the assistant telling her she loves her. The CEO then literally gets out of bed and runs out into the night without her shoes!
Much angst, even more therapy, then reunited.

Epilogue – 2 years later
They are married
The CEO has adopted the child
The assistant is now the Vice CEO
