This story had so many issues thrown into it – considering it is an exceedingly short book/novella.
A widower in a new relationship – wants to move her in but she is homophobic. Apparently she is working on it becoming less of an issue. Her relationship sort of depends on it as he lives with his daughter – an out and proud lesbian and he won’t tolerate homophobia towards her.
She moves in and brings her adult daughter with her. [Quite why these adults need to live with their parents is beyond me.]
So the 2 young women in the house are now step sisters.
Who better to get it on with than your new step sister?!
The step/mother finds out and is – let me see – homophobic. And blames the original lesbian for corrupting her darling daughter.
The ‘sisters’ split up.
Then they get back together again – still living with their parents at this stage.
The homophobe sorts herself out.
