It took me a long time to like this book.
At the beginning I didn’t like and therefore care about any of the characters. I kept on reading as I very rarely DNF a book – and it grew on me.
I liked the dual POV – and it was clear each time the POV changed. It is a enemies to lovers story.
Remi the bartender has issues – these are explained well but it still didn’t make me like her.
Maya the new bartender hire didn’t inspire me either.
They are in competition to win a cash bonus – and both have good reasons for wanting/needing the money.
Eventually it was Remi that made me warm up to the story.

Epilogue
This was not too far into the future of the ending – and was a continuation so we could see what had happened to the aspirations of both characters.
