This is number 2 in the series. Although you could read it as a standalone, it is so much better with all the accumulated backstory you would have if you read the series.
This includes the main characters from the last book but focuses on Erika and Lucy.
Again the characters are older women, within their network of older women.
This time we have a philosophy professor and a Episcopalian priest who also happens to be a stunningly beautiful red head. There is always a red head somewhere within a series.
As you would expect with these 2 occupations as they navigate their way to a relationship there is a lot of philosophical and religious talk.
Again – a great deal of research and knowledge is showcased here.
