This book does not centre on a new couple getting together – it deals with the lives and issues of the already existing cast.
This is a book swirling with emotion. Featured events include a major characters relationship breakup, death of a major character, death of family member, so there is grief portrayed in so many different forms and from the perspective of so many others. The grief portrayal is amazing.
The pandemic is still ongoing and features as does the political situation in USA.
Events which I am familiar with because I saw them on tv at the time were featured in the story – with characters watching and commenting on them.
