This was an interesting short book – when is something a novella?
We have Chloe using a racing wheelchair who meets Rachel out jogging. They then meet again at a singles event but the wheelchair user is not in her chair then and so she is not recognised. Her internalised ableism means that she doesn’t bring it up.
Many wheelchair users can walk – just not far – so this is a perfectly plausible situation.

They go out a few times and seem to be getting along well. She avoids arranging to run together (as she still hasn’t told her abut her chair).

They enter a race together. She is shocked/surprised to see her there in her racing wheelchair.

When told about her MS, Rachel offers up ideas she could try including bee therapy. These ideas are not what Chloe wants to hear – if there was something that could help her she would have already done it.
This of course is a trust/communication issue.
They have a break but eventually are reunited.

I liked this and would recommend it.
