Now I’ve been reading these back to front as I have read 2 of the later books. So I thought I would go back to the beginning and read them as they are meant to be read. It did mean that I knew the set up etc and some of the characters were familiar to me though.

I like the set up of these characters and setting. This book has a cohesive running plot which helps to keep track of who is who as there are a lot of characters. It is highly enjoyable.
I really enjoyed and appreciated the latter section of the book which explained who everyone is and their ages etc. I had been wondering about ages etc and whether they had the same sort of set up in the past, how it was all set up- maybe a historical flashback ?
I also wonder how it works with ID and driving licences etc.
This does not of course impact on the story, it’s just the way my mind works.

I am going to work my work through the other books now. I’m going on a 2 week cruise in a couple of weeks so I will have plenty of time for reading then. I’ll also work on developing the ‘skill’ of being able to read erotica in public. You never know when that might come in handy.
