Bancroft, E V – Encrypted Hearts

I love this WW2 Bletchley Park story.
Yorkshire lass Gloria gets recruited and sent to Bletchley Park – a far more satisfying war time role for her than working in the office of her dad’s factory.
She meets Cam, a whizz at cracking codes there. Cam is unlike anyone else she has ever met – she dresses in men’s suits, has short hair and keeps herself to herself.
They connect over singing and Gloria is ‘strangely ‘ attracted to Cam.
There is also intrigue and suspense with a spy story for Gloria to contend with – as well as having to deal with her dad’s constant attempts to thwart her and get her home to marry a boring man.
There is so much research in this story – it is so interesting to read. Especially when characters from the other 2 books in the series make an appearance at the end.
This is the 3rd book in this series – you could read them all as standalones, but it is much better to read them all.

Epilogue
This sees them out celebrating VE day in London in 1945 – with characters from past books there as well.
