This is the first book I have read of this author. I will read more now.
I really liked this. I think because it showed the reality of emotions when your partner has cheated on you – and absolute lack of trust that follows. Questioning everything etc. I don’t think I have read many books where the darker emotions are such a large part of the story.
There are a full range of emotions in this story.
46 year old Alex lives and works in London but has to visit the Canadian offices of the company she works for occasionally. During a work trip she meets Justine whilst out with the cousin of her best friend (who just happens to be in Canada at that time).
It does not go at all smoothly.
But you know that it will do in the end.

I listened to this book while driving – and at the end of the week when I had no more driving to do I had to stop on the way home just to finish it!
