This is the 3rd book in the series.
I had not read any of the others before I got this – but I read them to see what I had missed out on.

It’s quite a nice idea. It’s not quite a police procedural, but also not quite a cosy mystery.
The set up is the same in each book.
A potential crime occurs. The university police have to take a look and the lead detective teams up with one of a small group of academic staff friends to look at it. They then go on to live happily ever after, and solve the crime on the way.

I may well have appreciated the series more if I hadn’t read the 3 books in 3 days.

My only concern – there are 3 cops, there were 4 women. What happens to Ari? Will there be a book 4? a new cop?
