This is the start of a series set on a University and featuring some of the academics and the University Police Department.
Why does a University have their own Police dept? I’m guessing this is an Americanism. We just have a couple of old guys in a high viz as security here!

But anyway, the story is good. The characters are brought to life, there is romance and you can practically see the women lining up to feature in the next few books until they are all paired off.

I enjoyed it, and went on to read the others.
Did I figure out who dunnit? Yeah – but it didn’t spoil the book.
There’s a lot of research/knowledge in here – that’s the problem with setting it in a university – the professors have to know what they are talking about.

There was an epilogue – not always present in a series.
We accompany the newly attached couple on a private tour of the university.
