This is an opposites attract, run away from my life, city to country girl, CEO hiding in plain sight, type of book. (I may have made up some of those tropes).
It is an entertaining read within a fairly predictable kind of story. The fact that you know what is going to happen does not however diminish the pleasure from reading it. That’s the whole point of tropes and genres – people like to know what they are getting.
The devil is in the detail – the characters, how they interact and what happens to them to get from beginning to end.
Eleanor, the workaholic CEO takes a break from the city and does the feasibility study herself in the countryside. She likes it and doesn’t want to go home.
It is nicely written, well edited and very enjoyable.
It does of course have an epilogue.
This shows you the changes they made to their lives to be happy together.
