West, Natasha – Nobody Quite Like You by

I thoroughly enjoyed this.
It wasn’t necessarily the type of book I was expecting – there are some authors that I don’t read the blurb etc – I just pick it because I have liked their previous stuff. Natasha West is one of those.
What happens when you take a woman from an isolated, technology free island and send her to the big, bad mainland for a meeting? Classic Miss West humour – farting in the elevator, misunderstandings and miscommunication. As well as the wonder of seeing the world for the first time.
I also thought the writing was cleverly done – the language used was constructed to ensure that it actually sounded like someone who had no previous exposure to tech and gadgets, or indeed the majority of modern life.
