Another classic story with a twist. This is a bodyguard and client story in another name. The client and her daughter needed protecting and someone contacted them offering help when the police took no action. It was the anonymous ‘The Organisation’ – kind of modern day vigilantes and Robin Hood off (Cat) to protect, and fall in love with, her Maid Marion (Laura).
All well written and as you read it you can picture it happening.
Add in some sexual tension, hiding in safe houses, compromised security, and getting the baddie and you have your story.
I love a good Claire Highton-Stevenson book. And this is certainly one of those.
