Don’t Cry For Me by Rachel Lacey

Now this book has kittens – cue the pussy jokes.
It also has a tv personality determined not to have a relationship more meaningful than a one night stand ( with the same person multiple times) and a bar with it’s owner.
Both of the women have some level of tragedy in their lives that they need to get past in order to get on with their lives and if they manage to do it they can advance on into the future together.
Needless to say they manage it and they also feature ( in a small but meaningful way) in the next book in the series. They may feature on all of them but I haven’t read that far yet.
It’s enjoyable, nothing terrible happens ( the loss etc happened before the book starts).
It’s fun, fairly light hearted and a good, easy read.
