You would think I was fed up of reading books that are based around fake dating, fake relationships etc. But apparently not.
This book was funny – and not just in the bits where the comedian was either on stage or practicing her set. Although they helped.
This story had a wounded ex cop, I’ve not read one before where the wound was to the eye – it was interesting to note all the different ways her life had been affected by the loss of it.
She worked security at a club – sort of like the bodyguard trope.
The rich kid trying to make it without family support.
Danger.
And of course the romance blooming from the fake romance.
I enjoyed it. It made me laugh.
