I enjoyed this.
The story starts with Regina taking Ellie to task for putting Valentine hearts up in the ED. An ‘accidental’ bid on bachelorette number 12 at a charity auction sets up Dr Regina and Nurse Ellie on a number of dates. There is also a photographer to capture the fun.
Regina is a bit of an ice queen – also known as a grumpy – and Ellie is friendly and open.
Who could predict that the ice queen would melt?
There’s also a cute dog, death, grief and loss and disc golf – which I had to google.

There is of course an epilogue – Ellie is once again putting up hearts in the Ed – and Regina also has an opinion on the safety of this.
